Directions
- We gather all the ingredients and mix them together in a bowl using an electric hand mixer. ≈ 3 min
- We begin by whisking the eggs and sugar together at high speed. ≈ 4 min
- Next, we add the milk powder, flour, and shredded coconut. ≈ 3 min
- Once everything is well mixed, pour the mixture into a round mold with a central hole, which has been greased beforehand to prevent the dough from sticking during baking. ≈ 3 min
- The dough is baked in a preheated oven at 180 °C for approximately 25 minutes.
- To check if it’s cooked, simply insert a needle into the center of the dough and make sure there are no raw spots. ≈ 3 min
- Once the dough is cooked, it is allowed to cool.
- Once it has cooled, it is demolded and then immersed in a syrup (made with sugar and water).
