  1. Boil some water in a pot.
  2. Prepare a large bowl, a fine-mesh sieve, or a damp dishcloth. ≈ 3 min
  3. Add a cup of dried fish flour to boiling water; reduce the heat and simmer for about 1 minute.
  4. Filter using a fine sieve or a damp cloth placed over the pot. ≈ 3 min

  • 1 ounce (18 grams) of dried bonito flakes
  • 2 glasses (400 ml) of water
