- Soak the cod for 36 hours, changing the water every 12 hours.
- After being washed and dried, it is floured. ≈ 3 min
- Next, we fry it in olive oil, starting with the skin-side down, then flipping it over.
- We’ll put that aside. ≈ 3 min
- In a pot, you add oil paint and finely chopped onion. ≈ 3 min
- Once the onions start to soften, add the tomato paste, bay leaf, and salt. ≈ 3 min
- Let it simmer.
- We mix the cumin seeds and garlic, then add a little water to create a paste. ≈ 3 min
- Next, this mixture is applied to the tomatoes. ≈ 3 min
- We then add the fried cod pieces and mix them thoroughly so that they are completely submerged in the tomato sauce. ≈ 3 min
