Directions
- Heat the red wine in a saucepan on the stove, but do not let it boil.
- Slice the oranges and finely chop the herbs. ≈ 8 min
- Light the candle in the burner and place the warm red wine on top. ≈ 3 min
- Place the fire poker above the pot and position the sugar in the center of this surface. ≈ 3 min
- Fill a long glass with rum, about halfway full, then slowly pour the sugar over the rum, ensuring that the sugar is fully incorporated. ≈ 10 min
- Turn on the sugar pyramid. ≈ 3 min
- Each time the flame diminishes, refill the container with more cooled rum, filling it to about 3/4 of its capacity, and then slowly pour the rum over the sugar.
