Directions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a 4-liter pot.
  2. Add the onion and garlic. ≈ 3 min
  3. Please come back in about 1 minute.
  4. Add the chicken. ≈ 3 min
  5. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the terracotta apples. ≈ 3 min
  7. Add all the spices and mix well to ensure the chicken and apples are evenly coated. ≈ 4 min
  8. Cook for approximately 5 minutes longer.
  9. Add the sauce ingredients, mix well, bring to a gentle simmer, then let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  10. Add 60 ml of mashed potatoes, and mix until the curry thickens.
  11. If you prefer a thicker curry, add more mashed apples, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach the desired consistency. ≈ 3 min
  12. Add salt and pepper to taste. ≈ 3 min
