Directions
- Cut the cauliflower into small florets, then place them, with the heads facing down, in a bowl of salted water for an hour to help them drain.
- Drain the cauliflower florets and add them to a pot of boiling, salted water.
- Cook, uncovered, while regularly checking the texture of the cauliflower with a knife to determine when it is done.
- The knife should slide easily, but with a certain resistance, indicating that the cauliflower is still tender. ≈ 3 min
- Preheat your oven to 200 °C (180 °C with a fan / 200 °C / gas mark 6).
- Once the cauliflower is cooked, drain the florets and arrange them in a dish of your choice. ≈ 2 min
- Mix the white sauce with two-thirds of the Parmesan cheese, then pour it over the cauliflower. ≈ 4 min
- Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and any remaining cheese. ≈ 2 min
- Place your dish in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until it is nicely browned.
- Serve immediately. ≈ 2 min
