Directions

  1. Peel and chop the apples, then process them in a food processor to create a puree.
  2. Preheat the oven to 170 °C.
  3. First, mix the sugar and melted butter together in a mixing bowl. If the dough is thick enough to form a “S” shape, it’s ready. ≈ 4 min
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the baking powder, cinnamon, powdered vanilla, and melted butter. ≈ 4 min
  5. Alternate between mixing the apple puree and the softened, mixed ingredients. ≈ 4 min
  6. Mix thoroughly until you have a smooth dough. Please note that the dough may be sticky. ≈ 4 min
  7. Roll the dough into small balls and place them in a muffin tin. ≈ 3 min
  8. Bake the apple cake for 30 minutes, or until it is golden brown.
  9. Let the kakkus cool in a container before serving with milk.
