Directions
- Soak the mushrooms for at least one hour.
- Finely chop the raw cabbage and cook it in salted water for about 30 minutes.
- Drain the sauerkraut and add the soaked mushrooms, then simmer for another half hour, adding the mushroom soaking water as needed.
- Towards the end of cooking, add the melted butter, flour, and a spoonful of caramelized sugar.
