Directions
- Preheat the oven to 220 °C (425 °F) and spread the French fries on a greased baking sheet.
- Cook the French fries for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are lightly golden.
- After about 5 minutes, sprinkle the French fries with grated Cheddar cheese and continue cooking.
- In a small bowl, melt the butter and flour together, stirring constantly.
- Cook over low heat, gradually adding the broth with the pepper, while continuously stirring.
- Once the French fries are cooked, divide them among the plates and serve with your favorite sauce.
