Directions
- Boil the broad bean pods for 5 minutes in boiling water, drain, and reserve the resulting broth, or prepare a vegetable stock.
- Cook the broad beans for 9 minutes in salted water, drain them, and let them cool.
- In a pot, sauté the onion in olive oil. Once it is softened, add the garlic and cook for a moment.
- Add the ham and flour, mixing well with a spatula. ≈ 3 min
- Add the broth gradually, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
- As soon as the mixture comes to a boil, add the broad beans.
- Bring to a boil, then season with salt.
