Directions

  1. Cut the tomatoes in half: they should be ripe and not too acidic. ≈ 8 min
  2. Rub the entire surface of each slice of bread with the inside of the tomatoes, on both sides, on the inside of the bread, just like you would on the outside. Use as many tomatoes as needed to ensure the entire surface is evenly coated. ≈ 3 min
  3. Place the two slices side by side on a plate and drizzle them with good-quality olive oil. ≈ 3 min
  4. Sprinkle with a little salt and eat immediately. ≈ 2 min
