Directions
- Coat the apples in butter and lemon juice. ≈ 3 min
- Combine the sugar, the four spices, cloves, and cinnamon. ≈ 4 min
- Sprinkle the apples and mix them well to ensure they are evenly coated. ≈ 4 min
- Heat a small stainless steel pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the apples and brown sugar until they are lightly golden. ≈ 3 min
- Add bourbon to the pan and deglaze.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
