Directions
- Peel the oranges and lemons. ≈ 8 min
- Cut the fruit into pieces and press them into a pot. ≈ 8 min
- A garlic press or potato masher can be used, or any other juicer or fruit extraction device. ≈ 3 min
- Also, add the remaining fruit pulp to the pot. ≈ 3 min
- Add the grapes, honey, and spices. ≈ 3 min
- Mix. ≈ 4 min
- Don’t add the whisky yet! ≈ 3 min
- Begin cooking the mixture in the pot, and allow it to simmer for approximately 2 to 4 hours.
- Stir occasionally. ≈ 4 min
- The preparation is complete when the fruit pulp is fully cooked. ≈ 3 min
- Pour in a pitcher. ≈ 3 min
- Crush the fruit in the sieve to extract all the juice. ≈ 4 min
- Add the whisky to the pitcher and stir. ≈ 4 min
- If you heat whisky, even for a short period, the alcohol will begin to evaporate.
- Taste and add more whisky to your liking. ≈ 2 min
- Serve hot in small glasses, espresso cups, or coffee mugs. ≈ 2 min
- After the first portion, each individual portion can be reheated in the microwave.
