  1. In a saucepan on the terrace, heat some oil paint over medium heat. Add the chopped mackerel (marinated), crushed garlic, bay leaf, a pinch of pepper, the whole head of Allium sativum, salt, and unpeeled and diced tomatoes.
  2. Cover with a lid and let it cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until the tomatoes have reduced to a sauce.
