Directions
- Peel and grate the green plantains. ≈ 8 min
- Place the fish in a saucepan, add the water, onion, bell pepper, spices and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the palm oil and the chopped shrimp, then stir gently. ≈ 4 min
- Gradually add the grated plantain purée to the pot and mix well. ≈ 4 min
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring regularly to keep it from burning.
- If you like, add a few sage or pumpkin leaves. ≈ 3 min
- Continue cooking until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth.
- Remove from the heat and serve hot. ≈ 2 min
