Directions

  1. Place the almonds in a bowl and cover them with at least 2.5 cm of water. Let them soak in the refrigerator overnight.
  2. Drain the water and place the almonds in a blender. ≈ 2 min
  3. Add 700 ml of pure water and mix until the mixture is clear. Stop mixing after a few minutes, when no further changes in color or consistency are visible. ≈ 4 min
  4. Strain the mixture in a pitcher using a fine-mesh sieve by pressing the milk obtained from the wet mixture through the sieve with a wooden spoon, or place a mesh bag over the pitcher to press the mixture by hand. ≈ 3 min
  5. Place the pressed almond milk in the blender. Add the 3 dates and blend until the color and consistency no longer show any visible changes. ≈ 4 min
  6. Refrigerate or pour into a cup and consume. ≈ 3 min
