Directions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then add salt.
- Cook the fettuccine al dente according to the package instructions.
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, add the cream and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
- Add the grated Parmesan and stir until it is completely melted. ≈ 4 min
- Drain the fettuccine, add them to the pan with the sauce, and mix well to ensure they are evenly coated.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg, and garnish with parsley if desired. ≈ 2 min
- Place in warm plates and serve immediately. ≈ 2 min
