Directions

  1. Melt 200g of unsalted butter and 200g of dark chocolate in a pot with two tablespoons of water. Add the butter in pieces and mix until fully melted into a smooth cream. Remove from heat. ≈ 4 min
  2. Whip 4 eggs with 200g of sugar (by hand for the best results) until you obtain a smooth, white, and fluffy mixture in a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle in 2 pinches of vanilla powder. Then, add the chocolate-butter cream and mix again. ≈ 4 min
  3. Add 100g of flour, being careful to avoid any lumps. Add 110g of chopped walnuts. ≈ 3 min
  4. Cooking time: 20-25 minutes at 150 °C. Check for doneness by inserting a knife into the center and testing the texture of the top.
  5. Presentation: Cut the cake into approximately 25 brownies (those with a sweet tooth might cut it into 8; those with a refined palate might cut it into 36…). Serve with custard, if desired. ≈ 8 min
  6. Melt 375g of low-fat margarine and 6 generous tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder together.
  7. Place the mixture in a container. ≈ 3 min
  8. Add 550g of brown sugar, then 6 eggs one at a time, followed by 380g of liquid flour and 1 teaspoon of salt, and finally 60g of coarsely chopped walnuts. ≈ 3 min
  9. Place the mixture in a large, greased rectangular baking dish. ≈ 3 min
  10. Thermostat-controlled baking, approximately 30 minutes. The cake should remain moist inside; it will continue to cook after being removed from the oven.
  11. Melt 70g of butter (not margarine) and 150g of light brown sugar.
  12. Add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder and 3 tablespoons of milk. ≈ 3 min
  13. Just barely melt the butter.
  14. Add the remaining ingredients. ≈ 3 min
  15. Reheat, bring to a boil for 1 minute.
  16. Let it cool while stirring occasionally.
  17. Pour over the walnut-decorated cake. ≈ 2 min
  18. Spread with a spatula. ≈ 3 min
