Directions
- Prepare the Bona dough, following the recipe. ≈ 3 min

- To prepare the onion, garlic, and pepper mixture that we will then add to the coca paste, we first prepare the vegetables. ≈ 3 min
- Cut the tomatoes and peppers into bite-sized pieces, about one inch long and one inch wide. ≈ 8 min
- Next, we add oil paint to coat the bottom of the pan, and once it’s heated, we add the garlic, pepper, tomatoes, and a pinch of salt.
- We bring the mixture back to a simmer for about 30 minutes (you can also add paprika while it’s simmering in the hot oil before adding the vegetables, but be careful not to burn it).
- We taste and adjust the seasoning with sugar, if needed. ≈ 2 min
- Once the dough is ready, we spread it evenly in the mold or oven-safe dish, and then let it rest for a few minutes.
- At this point, the dough is ready to be baked. ≈ 3 min
- We will bake them in the oven for approximately 25 to 30 minutes at 180-200 °C, until the edges of the dough are dry, but not burnt.
