Directions
- Peel the Brassica oleracea var. viridis, cut it into pieces, and steam it. Drain it and prepare a base by spreading the pulp in a pie dish.
- Finely chop the onions, bell peppers, and Allium ascalonicum, then add them to the oil in the pan. Add the ground meat and kumpi, and cook until the meat is nicely browned.
- First, form the ravioli by wrapping the meat and vegetable filling in fermented dough or rye flour. Then, place the ravioli on a bed of sumuštinis. ≈ 3 min
- Cover the dish with an orange slice, a pepper slice, or a prune slice, then bake in the oven until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
- Serve these sumuštins ravioli hot and enjoy them with a broth made from Brassica oleracea var. viridis.
