Directions
- First, cook the eggs until they are firm. Then, cut them in half lengthwise. ≈ 8 min
- Carefully remove the yolks, mash them with a fork, and mix them with a little mayonnaise until you have a well-bound mixture. ≈ 4 min
- Fill the pastry shells with the farce and smooth the tops. Place them, cut-side down, on a bed of lettuce in a dish or on a plate. ≈ 10 min
- Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half, and remove the pulp, which you can save for making a sauce, soup, salad, or pasta dish. ≈ 8 min
- Place a halved, emptied tomato on top of each filled egg as a decorative element. ≈ 10 min
- Place small dots of mayonnaise on the tomato caps and sprinkle with a little pepper. ≈ 2 min
