Strawberry tart with pastry cream and glaze
A plain strawberry tart on a shortcrust pastry base, filled with pastry cream or lemon cream, and topped with an orange or apple jelly.
This strawberry tart features a baked pastry crust, a pastry cream (either vanilla or lemon flavored), and fresh strawberries arranged in a circular pattern. A layer of jelly adds a glossy finish. It is best enjoyed on the same day to maintain a crisp crust.
