Directions
- The sticky rice is soaked for 30 minutes, drained, mashed, filtered, and then dried until completely dry, before being filtered again.
- The eggs are beaten until they form a foam. ≈ 3 min
- Mix the baking soda. ≈ 4 min
- The flour is added, and then the dough is kneaded until it forms a workable consistency. ≈ 10 min
- It has a shape similar to the number 8. ≈ 3 min
- The mixture is heated, and then the pot is briefly lifted away from the heat until the mixture cools down.
- Once the shapes have been created, they are placed in a pan, and the pan is then heated over the fire.
- We flip the shapes over to cook both sides.
- Once they have ripened sufficiently, they are picked from the trees, washed, and then left to dry in the sun. ≈ 3 min
- The sugar is cooked with a small amount of water until it becomes white, then the cakes are added and mixed until they are dry. ≈ 3 min
