This flaky pie is filled with spinach seasoned with garlic and chili peppers, tomatoes, and cheese. It takes only 20 minutes to prepare before being baked.

Directions

  1. Thaw the puff pastry and grease a baking dish with olive oil, making sure to coat the edges. ≈ 3 min
  2. Reheat the chopped garlic in a generous amount of olive oil. Before the garlic starts to release its aroma, add the chopped chili pepper and heat for a moment.
  3. Add the frozen spinach and let it thaw slowly over low heat, so that the aroma of garlic permeates the leaves. Remove from heat, cut the tomatoes into eight pieces, add them, then season with salt and nutmeg.
  4. Garnish the dish, cover with cheese, and place a layer of remaining puff pastry on top. Add the remaining ingredients to the dish. ≈ 10 min
  5. Bake for approximately 15 to 20 minutes at 200 °C (also refer to the baking time indicated on the pastry packaging).

  • 5 cloves of Allium sativum (garlic)
  • 1 to 2 fresh chili peppers

  • salt
  • walnut and nutmeg
