Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
- Sift the flour into a mixing bowl, then rub in the butter with your fingers. ≈ 2 min
- Sift the sugar, yeast, and spices over the salad bowl and mix well. ≈ 4 min
- Add the syrup and mix until a dough forms. ≈ 3 min
- Shape walnut-sized balls. ≈ 10 min
- Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- Let it cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before serving.
