Directions
- The seaweed is immersed in a lime solution for approximately 24 hours to soften its texture, after which it is rinsed several times until it is clean.
- The seaweed is ground into a fine paste.
- First, prepare a large pot, then add the coconut milk, rice flour, and wheat flour. ≈ 3 min
- Mix thoroughly until you have a smooth, even dough. ≈ 4 min
- The sugar, salt, and vanilla are added to a pot, and then cooked over low heat.
- A batter made from seaweed is added, and it is constantly mixed to prevent it from burning. ≈ 3 min
- The mixture should thicken and become elastic.
- This mixing process can take up to 2 hours.
- Once the dough has been thoroughly kneaded, the desired flavors can be added according to each person’s preferences. ≈ 10 min
- The dough is poured into molds or containers that have already been lined with plastic or greased paper. ≈ 3 min
- Refrigerate until firm, then cut into the desired size pieces. ≈ 8 min
