Directions
- First, gently press the small gumdrop pieces with your fingers to extract any excess syrup inside, so they are slightly dry. ≈ 3 min

- Add powdered sugar and mix until a smooth paste or soft consistency is formed. ≈ 4 min
- Now, divide the maowa dough into 10 to 12 equal portions, each the same size as a golgappa. ≈ 3 min
- Take a portion of cake batter and flatten it in the palm of your hand. ≈ 3 min
- Next, place a small “rasgulla” in the center and cover it with dough to form a ball. ≈ 10 min
- Make sure that the “rasgulla” is completely coated in the dough. ≈ 3 min
- Now, roll the prepared balls in chopped pistachios or dried flour, ensuring they are lightly coated with a thin layer, resembling the petals of jasmine flowers. ≈ 10 min
- After allowing the cakes to rest for a few minutes at room temperature or in the refrigerator to firm up, serve them.
