Directions
- Rinse the rice and let it soak for 15 to 20 minutes, then drain the water.
- Heat the milk in a saucepan.
- Once it starts to simmer, add the bay leaves and cardamom.
- Once the milk begins to thicken slightly, gradually add the rice and cook over low heat, stirring constantly.
- Once the rice is cooked and the milk has thickened, remove the pot from the heat and let it stand for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Next, add the sugar (it’s best to dissolve it in a little warm milk to prevent it from clumping). ≈ 3 min
- Once the honey has been incorporated, cook for a few more minutes, then add the grapes and walnuts.
- If the puree is very thick, turn off the heat and serve it hot or cold. ≈ 2 min
