Directions
- Rinse the rhubarb and cut it into 1/2 cm pieces. ≈ 8 min
- Bring the water and sugar to a boil.
- Split the vanilla pods open and scrape out the seeds. ≈ 3 min
- Place the pods and seeds in the syrup. ≈ 3 min
- Add the rhubarb and cook until it is tender.
- Remove the pot from the heat. ≈ 3 min
- Mix the flour with a little cold water to form a paste, then pour it in gradually, while constantly stirring. ≈ 4 min
- Return the cream to a simmer, pour it into a mixing bowl, add the strawberries, and let it cool.
