Directions
- Soak the pistachios for 1 hour, remove the skins, and blend them with a little milk to create a smooth paste.
- Heat the ghee in a shallow pan, add the pistachio paste, and stir over medium heat until the raw smell disappears.
- Add the khoya and sugar, then mix well. ≈ 4 min
- Gradually add the milk and stir until the mixture thickens.
- Add the cardamom and saffron, and mix well. ≈ 4 min
- When the mixture is thick like halva, remove from the heat and pour onto a greased, shallow dish. ≈ 3 min
- Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and let cool.
