Directions
- Ask your host if they have a suitable plate, such as a serving plate or a large plate. ≈ 2 min
- Remove the green part of the pineapple, but leave enough fruit to form a small bush on the plate. ≈ 3 min
- Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise. ≈ 8 min
- Place one half on the plate, with the cut side facing down, to form the island. ≈ 3 min
- Place a few grape clusters on each skewer. Leave some space at the bottom to insert the two “palm tree trunks” onto the pineapple. ≈ 3 min
- Cut the bell pepper in half lengthwise, creating a zigzag pattern. If you cut this zigzag pattern across the entire surface, you will obtain two halves of bell pepper with “teeth” that resemble a crown. If you extend these “teeth,” the halves will resemble the top of a palm tree. ≈ 8 min
- Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and attach a cluster of bell pepper leaves to each of the two plants. ≈ 3 min
- Cut the remaining half of the pineapple into slices and arrange them on the plate to resemble the waves crashing against the island. ≈ 8 min
- Add extra grapes for a final decorative touch. ≈ 2 min
- The “Pineapple Island” project is now complete. ≈ 3 min
