Directions
- Prepare the syrup by mixing the sugar, water, citric acid, and, if desired, honey. ≈ 3 min
- Mix the dough ingredients together, but do not knead too much, as the fat will come out. If the dough is too sticky, add flour gradually until it no longer sticks to your hands. ≈ 10 min
- Spread the biscuits with jam, at room temperature for easy spreading, then decorate with shredded coconut, toasted dried fruits, sesame seeds, and honey.
