Directions
- Preheat the oven to 225 °C. Wash the pastis, cut off a small piece at the base, and then chop it into small pieces.
- Mix the pastis with water, a pinch of salt, and let it steep for 15 to 20 minutes, then drain it.
- Cut the chicken into small pieces, season with salt and pepper. Fry it in butter or oil for 15-20 minutes, until cooked through.
- Place the pastis and chicken in a large baking dish. Season with pepper, add the cream and Pernod, and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. ≈ 3 min
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes, finishing with a few minutes under the broiler if you wish to create a nice, crispy crust.
