Directions
- Soak the beans in boiling water for 30 minutes.
- Cook the beans until they are tender. ≈ 3 min
- Mash them and then strain them through a sieve to remove the seeds.
- In a bowl, combine the puree, butter, cloves, and cinnamon sticks with the sugar. ≈ 4 min
- Let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes.
- Continue to cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the jam reaches the desired consistency.
- To check if the jam is ready, pour a spoonful of jam onto a plate and set it aside. If the jam doesn’t run, it is ready. ≈ 3 min
- Pourage the hot jam into sterilized jars, seal them tightly, and then invert the jars. ≈ 3 min
