Directions

  1. Mix the powdered sugar and almond flour together, then sift to obtain a fine powder. Set aside. ≈ 4 min
  2. Slowly add the powdered sugar to the egg whites and whisk with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form, creating a meringue icing. ≈ 4 min
  3. Gradually incorporate the mixture of powdered sugar and almond flour into the meringue icing, adding it in two portions at a time, while constantly stirring to ensure a smooth mixture. ≈ 4 min
  4. Use a piping bag to form small balls of dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. ≈ 3 min
  5. Bake the macarons in the oven at 180 °C for 12 minutes.
