Directions
- Thoroughly wash the lentils and soak them for 4 to 5 hours, or overnight.
- Drain the soaked lentils. ≈ 2 min
- Combine the lentils, ginger, and garlic with a little water to create a smooth paste. Be careful not to add too much water; the paste should remain thick. ≈ 4 min
- Combine the dough with the onion, chili peppers, turmeric, cumin, and salt. Knead thoroughly. ≈ 4 min
- Heat the oil paint over medium heat. Form small balls or patties with the paste and then dip them into the oil paint.
- Cook them over medium heat until they are golden brown and crispy, ensuring they are cooked through.
- Drain them on paper towels. ≈ 2 min
