Japanese curry is a traditional dish in Japan, with origins in India. There are many variations depending on the region, but the only common ingredient is curry, which is typically milder than in India. This simple and representative recipe uses pork, vegetables, and rice.

Directions
- Cut the meat into small pieces (large enough), and lightly sprinkle with curry powder. ≈ 8 min
- Chop the onions, carrots at an angle, and the potatoes into large chunks (so they don’t dissolve in the broth), and mince the garlic.
- Bring the meat back to life with a touch of oil paint.
- Add the onions, carrots, and allium sativum (garlic), ginger, bay leaf, salt, and then cover with water and add the broth.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes (reduce heat after boiling).
- Aside from that, mix flour with a little bit of red paint and about 2-4 tablespoons of oil paint. ≈ 3 min
- Mix the meat broth with the curry powder.
- Stir vigorously to achieve a smooth and thick sauce. ≈ 4 min
- Add the sauce to the broth, then add the remaining seasonings (ketchup, sugar, pepper, and salt, to your liking).
- Let it simmer for 30 minutes to an hour.
