Directions
- First, determine the amount of water you typically use in your coffee cups or mugs. ≈ 3 min
- Note this quantity or write it down for future reference. ≈ 3 min
- Next, based on this amount and the desired strength of the coffee, determine the amount of water and ground coffee needed. ≈ 3 min
- The more ground coffee you use, the stronger the coffee will be. ≈ 3 min
- Whether you prepare your coffee using an espresso machine or by hand, the process is essentially the same. ≈ 3 min
- The coffee machine makes pouring the water easier, but you still need to pay attention. ≈ 3 min
- (Optional) Add one teaspoon of Buisman to the ground coffee before adding hot water. ≈ 3 min
- Buisman is made from glucose syrup and caramelized molasses, and is intended to enhance the flavor of coffee.
- Pour a kettle, pot, or saucepan, add a little more water than you need.
- After all, some of the water will also evaporate during cooking. ≈ 3 min
- Turn on the kettle or heat the water in a saucepan over high heat.
- Keep a close eye on it to see when it starts to boil. ≈ 3 min
- In the meantime, prepare the coffee in the kettle.
- A thermos can be placed directly on the countertop, while a glass kettle or any other kettle that could be damaged by temperature fluctuations (cold countertop - hot coffee) should be placed on a trivet or a cloth.
- Place the coffee filter holder on top of the coffee maker.
- Next, place a paper coffee filter inside. ≈ 3 min
- Add the appropriate amount of ground coffee. ≈ 3 min
- For a stronger coffee, add a little more. ≈ 3 min
- When the water is boiling: first, pour a small amount of water into the filter, so that the ground coffee is lightly covered with water. ≈ 3 min
- Let it steep.
- Next, add hot water until it reaches just below the edge of the filter. ≈ 3 min
- Repeat this process as many times as necessary, until you have the desired amount of coffee or until the carafe is full. ≈ 3 min
- Make sure the coffee maker and filter basket are clean. ≈ 3 min
- Fill the coffee maker with the desired amount of coffee, then add water. ≈ 10 min
- Place a paper filter in the coffee machine’s filter holder and measure the amount of coffee needed. ≈ 3 min
- Then, put the filter holder back in its original position. ≈ 3 min
- Pour in the water into the reservoir. ≈ 3 min
- Then, immediately place the kettle on the machine’s burner.
- Turn on the coffee machine by following the instructions in the manual. ≈ 3 min
- Make sure the water doesn’t get into the filter, but instead flows around it, or that nothing else goes wrong. ≈ 3 min
- Once all the water has been infused into the coffee maker, the coffee is ready. ≈ 3 min
- The coffee can be kept warm in the coffee pot shown in the image for a certain period of time. ≈ 3 min
