Qovut is a traditional Azerbaijani sweet. It is made by combining ground, toasted wheat with walnuts, spices, and a saffron- and rosewater-flavored sugar syrup, then shaping it into small, decorated cakes. It is typically served with tea.

- Prepare a syrup using the sugar and allow it to cool.
