Directions
- Heat the honey and sugar together, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
- Pour the flour into a bowl. ≈ 3 min
- Add the remaining ingredients, from garlic to orange, and blend thoroughly. ≈ 4 min
- Dissolve the potash in a small amount of water. ≈ 3 min
- First, add the honey solution, then add the dissolved potash to the flour mixture, stirring well. Knead the dough until it cools.
- Spread the dough on a lightly floured surface. ≈ 4 min
- Cut out cookies from the dough, place them on gelatin sheets, and decorate with almonds. ≈ 8 min
- Allow to rest for approximately 24 hours in a warm place.
- The next day, bake for 15 to 20 minutes at approximately 180 °C.
- For the glaze, mix sugar, milk, and butter in a pot, and heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Drizzle the spiced cookies with warm icing. ≈ 3 min
