Directions
- In a large bowl, combine all the dried fruits and add water (about one cup per person, plus an additional 1 to 2 cups). ≈ 3 min
- Spend approximately one hour. ≈ 3 min
- We place the pot on the stove (with the water inside). ≈ 3 min
- And we’re waiting for the water to start boiling.
- Add 3/4 of the amount of sugar and lemon juice. ≈ 3 min
- Season with cinnamon and vanilla, and add 3-4 thin slices of lemon. ≈ 2 min
- Cook for approximately 30 minutes (until the fruit is tender, but not mushy).
- Taste and add sugar and/or lemon juice to your liking (experiment to find the perfect balance). ≈ 2 min
- Let it cool completely, then transfer it to the refrigerator for a night.
