Directions
apple compote
- Peel the apples, remove the core, and cut them into eight pieces. ≈ 8 min
- Place the water, sugar, and lemon juice in a pot and heat to make the syrup.
- Once the syrup comes to a boil, add the apples and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes, or until they are tender.
- Turn off the heat and let them cool in the syrup to absorb the flavors. Place in the refrigerator and enjoy chilled.
peach compote
- Remove the peach fuzz, cut the peaches in half, and remove the pit. ≈ 8 min
- Prepare the syrup by mixing the water, sugar, and lemon juice. ≈ 3 min
- Once the syrup comes to a boil, add the peaches and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes, or until they are tender.
- Turn off the heat and let it cool in the syrup. Place in the refrigerator and enjoy it very cold.
fig compote
- Remove the stems from the figs and cut them into four pieces. ≈ 8 min
- Prepare the syrup by mixing the water, sugar, and lemon juice. ≈ 3 min
- Once the syrup comes to a boil, add the figs and simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let it cool in the syrup. Place in the refrigerator and enjoy it very cold.
