Directions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a pot. Add the cilantro stems and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the fire and mix the contents of the pot. ≈ 4 min
  3. In a skillet, sauté the chopped onion in olive oil. ≈ 3 min
  4. Add the rice and stir until the grains change color. ≈ 3 min
  5. Pour the mixture into the saucepan and cover. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
  6. Combine the rice with the chopped chervil, basil, and cilantro. ≈ 4 min
  7. Serve immediately with ratatouille. ≈ 2 min
