- After washing and peeling the carrots, cut them into pieces and add them to a mixture consisting of lemon juice, one liter of water, and one tablespoon of vinegar. ≈ 8 min
- Cook over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
- Add hot water as needed. ≈ 3 min
- After 30 minutes, reduce the heat and continue cooking for another ten minutes, as this is when the inulin begins to break down, making the puree sweeter.
- Pour the puree into clean jars and seal them tightly. ≈ 3 min
