Directions
- Preheat the oven to a high temperature, with both the top and bottom heating elements turned on.
- Heat a pan with a little olive oil.
- Chop the vegetables into small pieces and add them to the pan.
- Let it simmer, and when the vegetables are tender, we add the spices, salt, and mix everything together.
- Add the natural tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, and mix well. ≈ 3 min
- Let it rest for a few more minutes so that all the ingredients can fully combine.
- Next, we add the tuna. ≈ 3 min
- We fill the empanadas: we place the mixture in the center of the dough, and using a brush, we moisten the edges with milk, fold the dough, seal it tightly, and then use a fork to seal the edges and moisten them with milk. ≈ 3 min
- We bake them in the oven until they are golden brown and ready to eat.
- We can fry them, but personally, I prefer to bake them.
- The ingredients are: pepper, olive oil, onion, sugar, maize starch, and salt, as well as the main ingredients: tomato, tuna, and hard-boiled eggs. ≈ 3 min
- For the dough, we can use pre-made cookies. ≈ 3 min
