Directions
- Melt the butter in a large pan or on a baking sheet.
- Return the onion, peppers, ham, and bacon to the pan, and cook until the onion becomes translucent.
- In a small bowl, lightly whisk the eggs. Add the salt, pepper, and hot sauce, if desired. ≈ 4 min
- Slowly pour the eggs into the pan, mixing them with the filling.
- Apply a thin layer of gold leaf to one side.
- Flip the omelette over and cook the other side until golden brown.
