- Heat the milk over low heat, and set aside a cup.
- Add the sugar and vanilla. ≈ 3 min
- Mix the flour with the reserved milk, then add this mixture to the existing mixture on the stove, stirring constantly until you obtain a light, creamy consistency. ≈ 3 min
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites, and then beat the whites until stiff peaks form. ≈ 4 min
- Add the sugar gradually, until you achieve a firm meringue. ≈ 3 min
- Add the egg yolks, salt, and yeast, then mix well. ≈ 4 min
- Add the flour and mix until it is well incorporated. ≈ 4 min
- Add the cream and, using a wooden spoon, gently mix. ≈ 4 min
- Brush with melted butter and flour. ≈ 4 min
- Pour the mixture into the pot, place it on low heat, and cover it. ≈ 3 min
- It is important to maintain a gentle heat to prevent it from burning. ≈ 3 min
- Wash it for 45 minutes, and if it doesn’t come out clean, it means it’s already cooked.
- Prepare the dough, place it in a baking dish, pour the cream over it, and sprinkle with chocolate chips, to your liking. ≈ 2 min
