Directions
- To prepare the Gokul cake filling, gently heat coconut milk, yogurt, and sugar in a saucepan, stirring constantly.
- Continue to stir the mixture in the pan until it is well cooked and dry, then add the cardamom powder.
- Once the mixture has cooled, form small, round balls from it.
- Now, prepare a cake batter by mixing flour, semolina, and rice flour in a bowl, then adding water to achieve a medium consistency. ≈ 3 min
- The dough should not be too thin or too thick. ≈ 3 min
- Dissolve sugar in water to create a thin syrup.
- Add rose water and clove essential oil to the syrup. ≈ 3 min
- Fry the coconut dough balls in hot oil or ghee until they turn a golden color.
- Once cooked, place the small breads in a warm syrup for 3 to 5 minutes.
- The small bread, Gokul, can be served warm or cold. ≈ 2 min
