Directions
- Whisk together the sugar, egg yolks, and grated lemon zest. ≈ 4 min
- Whip the egg whites with salt, then gradually fold them into the yolks. ≈ 10 min
- Sift the flour and cornstarch together, then mix. ≈ 4 min
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan, then bake at 180 °C for twenty minutes. ≈ 3 min
- Turn off the oven, wait for about ten minutes, then remove the cake.
- Let it cool completely, then remove from the pan and place on a wire rack.
