Directions
- Melt the butter with the finely chopped chocolate using a double boiler.

- Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Grease the baking tin well and pour the dough into it.
- Bake in the oven for approximately 30 minutes, then remove it from the mold and let it cool.
- Combine the softened butter, vanilla sugar, and brown sugar in a stand mixer until you have a smooth, creamy consistency. ≈ 4 min
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. ≈ 3 min
- Add the self-raising flour, and mix until a smooth dough forms. ≈ 4 min
- Add the cocoa and mix thoroughly. ≈ 4 min
- Pour préparer the tart, combine the ingredients in a greased baking dish and bake for approximately 45 minutes at 170 °C. You can check if the tart is done by inserting a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean, the tart is ready.
- Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool.
- While you’re doing that, prepare a glaze by mixing the powdered sugar, egg whites, and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. ≈ 3 min
- Whip the whipped cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar and the stabilizer packet until it reaches a firm consistency. ≈ 4 min
- Once the pie has cooled, cut it in half.
- Spread the whipped cream over the lower half. ≈ 3 min
- Reattach the top half and apply a layer of icing. ≈ 3 min
- Once the icing has set, the cake is ready to be cut. ≈ 3 min
